Since I can remember, I have been a sports fanatic. As a young girl, I was as involved athletically as I could be, and that continued in high school and college. I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Health Education and was a Division II volleyball/track and field athlete at Bemidji State where I was named Bemidji State Female Athlete of the Year after my senior season. Clearly, competing had been a HUGE part of my life and I knew I needed to fulfill that competitive drive, so I began CrossFit in 2014. Immediately, I felt like I was right where I needed to be. After a few years of learning the skills and doing some local competitions, I competed at Regionals and the CrossFit Games on team Timberwolf CrossFit out of Roseville in 2016. It was an amazing and eye-opening experience and I am forever thankful I was a part of that team. I have since found a new purpose in training - to be fit, happy, and healthy for myself and my family, and to show my children that health is a priority. My passion for teaching and health has taken me from a high school PE/Health teacher to a CrossFit gym owner. I love helping people be the best versions of themselves and making sure training for life is FUN and enjoyable!
